Come spend Halloween Day at Mapletons!
We will have our wagon out for rides out to the gardens, you can pick your own pumpkin, or try some pumpkin ice cream in our cafe. We are also in the process of building a pumpkin catapult which we hope to have ready for the 31st.
Mapleton’s Organic Farm has much more than the most delicious organic ice cream anywhere. We invite you to spend some time on our family farm. Take a stroll through The Barnyard where you can visit with our pigs, alpacas, donkeys, turkeys, chickens and bunnies. Say hi to our mini-horse Cherokee, and our cow, Esther. Have a walk around our Crop Circle which shows the rotation of the crops we grow and how they fit in the cycle of production. We also have a newly planted cedar hedge maze, a labyrinth and a new game called “Farmer’s Golf” for you to try. On long weekends visitors can take a wagon ride to visit our “girls” in the field who take pride in the delicious, wholesome milk they produce. We also offer all-organic barbeques.
