Autumn School Tours 

DESCRIPTION:

Come enjoy our educational farm tour, complete with animal interaction, access to our Adventure Area

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

- Dairy Barn Tour (tailored to group age)

- Interaction with our pet barn animals: Pony, Donkey, Goats, Sheep, Pig, Chickens, Ducks

- Wagon-ride

- Access to Adventure Area: Cedar maze, tire mountain & sensory path

- Kiddie Sized Ice Cream Cone & small pumpkin to take home

EDUCATIONAL GOALS:

Increased understanding of:

o   food production practices (with a focus on dairy)

o   The importance of animal welfare

o   Environmental agricultural practices

o   The life-cycle of a seed/plant/crop

With exposure to a variety of farm animals, students will develop a knowledge of the differing purposes and needs that animals have on a farm

TIMING:

The structured tour is 2 hours. However, your class is welcome to stay longer to enjoy the adventure area and barns. We have picnic tables and plenty of lawn if you wish to enjoy a nutrition break at our farm. We simply ask that if another tour is being conducted, your students enjoy a separate space at that time.

PRICING:

• 15$/STUDENT plus tax • 10$/ADULT plus tax • Teachers complimentary • minimum $300 per booking
